June 26th, 2025, was more than just a date on the calendar — it was a defining moment in the VIS sporting journey. Vellore International School had the honour of hosting the CISCE A-Zone Volleyball Tournament, a high-spirited event that brought together 10 competitive schools united by a shared love for the game.

The atmosphere was electric, the courts were alive with energy, and the air was filled with cheers, determination, and the echo of volleyballs slicing through the sky.

But this day wasn’t just about competition — it was about character, courage, and camaraderie. Our very own Under-17 boys and girls teams rose to the occasion, not only showcasing their athletic talent but also demonstrating unbreakable team spirit and unwavering discipline. Their hard work, strategic play, and resilience led them to victory in both categories, earning VIS a double celebration.

From thrilling rallies to powerful serves and spectacular teamwork, every moment was a tribute to the values of sportsmanship and perseverance that VIS stands for.

The event also reflected our school’s commitment to providing platforms where students can thrive beyond the classroom, building confidence, leadership, and lifelong memories.
