A Weekend of Exploration and Discovery for the VISionaries!
Our students had an incredible opportunity to embark on an exciting journey that combined education, adventure, and hands-on learning. Over the weekend, they explored two iconic locations – the Chennai Port and the Vandalur Zoo, each offering unique insights into the worlds of maritime operations and wildlife conservation.

At Chennai Port, the students witnessed firsthand the intricate workings of one of India’s busiest harbors. They had an exclusive experience aboard the Indian Coast Guard Ship, where they learned about the essential role the coast guard plays in safeguarding our nation’s maritime borders. From understanding how cargo is managed and transported to seeing how security measures are enforced, the visit provided a deep dive into the complexities of port operations. The students were fascinated by the advanced navigation systems, rescue protocols, and the teamwork required to maintain efficiency in maritime activities.

After this immersive experience at the port, the journey continued to the Vandalur Zoo, a haven for diverse wildlife species. Here, the students explored the natural habitats of various animals, gaining insights into their behavior, conservation efforts, and the importance of biodiversity. From majestic big cats and playful primates to exotic birds and reptiles, each encounter was a moment of awe and learning. Engaging with experts at the zoo, they understood how modern conservation techniques help protect endangered species and maintain ecological balance.
